Hello I am a tree.
In my defense, and on behalf of all trees, I just have to say, do you think you fucking worthless humans don't deserve this? I get we're in a symbiotic relationship. We produce oxygen and we absorb carbon dioxide. But you motherfuckers have the audacity to start complaining about "oh my allergies!" and "oh no pollen!" after you've spend half of your obnoxious existence just FARTING and RIPPING ASS into the atmosphere that WE absorb? You think we like that shit? It fucking DISGUSTING. We don't have tastebuds, but we DO experience something analogous to what you creatures would call "feisty spice". Do you really think we like feeling that nasty noxious gas flowing through our axils and veins? NO. We fucking don't. So before you keep whining about allergies, how about this instead: SHUT YOUR ASSES UP!
Sincerely, fuck you

I watched the latest episode of South Park. It talks about censorship of American media with lawsuits. But they did say "retarded faggot" several times in the episode. Some people on the right like restricting free speech as much as the left.
It feels like, the left used to defend everyone from censorship that was coming from religious right. But then they got so impotent and focused on stupid things like egg shells of autistic transexuals and now they're not there doing the thing you need them for.

it's a variant of the concept that doesn't have a specific outcome that most variants imagine.
You can read about them here if you scroll down https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerationism
This is not from a standard left or right set of desires for some outcomes, but more of nihilistic, "okay destroy everything then, idc"

there's a damned good reason if you're a kid and you never know if your computer breaks how will you get another one.
also keeping your own old computers and getting a bunch of other peoples old computers is different imo
but overall I agree, the fascination with old computers is really superficial. it would be different if people were restoring them for museum reasons, but it's more like teens just want to be cool using windows xp and having their whole family hacked because of it.
A reply to a thread was posted: do you consider old computers to be junk?
The only reason to keep old computers is to run old software that doesn't work the same on modern machines. Otherwise, old computers are generally much less efficient, using way more energy to do far less

How many people understand the original post hijacking I wonder...
https://board.goeshard.org/thread/euukantiporn-dsa/
It's actually really helpful to do that if you know how to do it.
EDIT: if you don't know
If a thread OP and its thumbnail don't explain and show what a thread is about, someone can hijack the thread by writing a post with a better title, a better thumbnail, and a bettery intro text. And if they do it right, I will give them the hijack and put their post at the top.
Look at the metadata to see the post order after hijack is not chronological.

This is exactly what happens to me if I try to drink cherry flavored anything.
I just taste robitussin from my days of abusing that.

A large portion of artificial flavors in drinks seems to be the exact flavorings they use in flavored vodkas. The taste makes me gag because I used to drink all those stupid vodkas. (Mainly because they came in the really little bottles and I could only afford those at the time lol). I have the same issue with anything I used as mixers a lot. Even though there isn't alcohol in them, my brain still fills in the blanks and I subconsciously taste cheap vodka or whiskey haha
Nowadays I mostly drink water and coffee. I'll sometimes have a polar seltzer at a friend's house if that's what they have.

I also drink one of these when I want something alcoholic but not a lot of it. They taste good for "canned margarita" which normally these are over sweet. This is more like lime flavored malt liquor.
Actually they got recalled in the United States for false advertising it's technically a lie according to regulators to call this margarita

The image on this post is fine, but the text is a bit annoying. Not a huge deal. Feels more annoying to complain about it than the post itself.
Other than that, there isn't really anything.

means "not safe for work", I don't know about you but I would not look at this site at work. One day there was a thread of AI generated dicks on /main/ for several hours until Nobo removed them.
I like that someone cleans it up and I come back later to things looking nice and organized. But anything could happen here.

I noticed random vlogging from people who don't seem to be chasing popularity and following trends is making a come back. Youtube randomly suggests these people with very small audience in an attempt to confuse viewers that it's a more authentic place than it is.
The people in these videos suffer from the terminal loneliness of people today who can't find anyone to talk to. It's sometimes sad, sometimes interesting. Sometimes I think they are probably acting.

It's better to discuss subjects like this in /meta/, whether you open a new thread or not is up to you.
> There seems to be a lot of ALMOST nsfw stuff in a lot of posts.
If there are specific post that you don't think belong where they are, you can bring it up here.
Without links to specific posts, I can only guess exactly which ones you're talking about. Of course I know that you're not wrong about this. I move threads that are subtle gooner posts to the /trash/ all the time but if there is something I missed or overlooked, you have to specifically point it out.
> Would it be better to make a contained (and well moderated) /nsfw/ board?
I don't think people are posting photos of celebs and drawings of women because they have no dedicated place to post their favorite porn stars getting double penetrated. Again, I'm having to guess what you're talking about here.

I've been using the same computer for 10 years (pic not related). It's one of those tempered glass cases that was popular in 2016. I've never dusted the inside of it once. It's bascially a dust cloud disaster zone in there. I'm afraid that if I opened it up, the eldritch horrors that would come out would occupy my house and never leave.
What is my point?
Having tempered glass and sleek black computers you can see inside to all the over designed parts... It's just a window into the dust horrors. Computers should be gray, the color of dust, and you should never see inside of them until you open them up.

Ozzy Osbourne died yesterday I guess. Metal is mostly miss, occasional hit for me but I decided to listen to this because of the news. It's like some intermediary between what we think of as metal and hippie jam music. They would probably hate to be compared to that but you know... They were closer to it than meal fans want to admit, so that means the gnarliest, heaviest most extreme metal of today has some connection back to peace love and hippie music.

yeah I was thinking about that yesterday.
This is an old thread that was started by users who have either gone anon or will never come back. I can't imagine this is a popular subject for future users either, so while it could have been a longer valid discussion if the original people stayed, in practice it just causes dildos to appear on /tech/
My preferred solution would be just more /tech/ threads with more good images, and this will get buried on its own. But if that doesn't happen maybe it is best to just /trash/ this.
edit: fuck it, lets trash this thing. If the board moved fast I would leave it but it doesn't.
