I don't have any recent account regs. The last one was 9/5 and they successfully logged in.
I would try it again. Post in /meta/ if you can't get it to work.

I've worked with a few peole on the old goeshard blog.
Dann from https://dannarchy.com/
Jade from https://idelides.xyz/
RisingThumb from https://risingthumb.xyz/
A few of my IRL friends have done a random post just from me pestering them to do it. There's also an article here with guidelines about doing it: https://goeshard.org/2025/05/07/do-you-want-to-guest-post-an-article-for-goeshardorg/
I feel like I've shilled this to the point that it's embarassing to continue shilling it. Treating goeshard.org like a magazine with a bunch of writers is an unrealistic way to approach it. It's simply never going to happen, so I'm not really doing it anymore.
> But for the board, I think it really comes down to advertisement, and reminding people that it's here.
Yeah... I'm probably not going to do that. I've done nothing but shill this website to people who I think are cool for months and months, and I'm ready to shed the image of "guy who shills his website constantly." I could do monetary ads, right... but what kind of culture would that bring really? It would be paying to spend my time getting spammed by low effort posts. Sometimes dead is better.
> Also I think the registration is broken or something since it never sends emails to people, so the lack of feedback isn't helping in either direction
Have you checked your spam? Do you want to make a /meta/ post reporting this problem with more specific issues? Other people have made accounts without problems so more information would be good. What is the account name you registered?

damn that's crazy.
Dumpster diving get a certain reputation because a lot of people that do it are tweakers pathologically gathering trash to take home. But if you're really just keeping an eye out for stuff of value, that's awesome.

how old are we talking? i think to sate your appetite for it you can consider doing some dumpster diving

Maybe you posted more frequently than any of those people but that's about the only difference. It says a lot that the people who wanted you gone the most didn't come back once you were gone anyway. That's because if you're going to bothered by anyone, it's more than one person that will bother you.
wow so i am, unlikely person... i attract shitty people; lol... (more of copium and hacuna matata needed, it seems, from my side...) also, was kinda obsessed with dumb people and hot takes... def shouldnt reply, react to all bs going on.
i wanted to help but it was just and only my selfishness showing...

I actually like it.
It's interesting how they jump from metalcore to indie rock on different songs. I imagine they got a lot of shit for that in 2004 since fans of these genres were not that open minded back then.
Then again... they were probably used to getting shit for this band photo. KEK
But the album is a good listen.

I tried doing a bearblog. This is a more revealing type of post than I would normally do on goeshard.
https://nobo.bearblog.dev/politics/
This is where I reveal to everyone who maybe didn't know that I'm not conservative -- I'm center-left.
If anyone really thought I was conservative, it's only because I usually don't talk politics and I can usually get along with most people I disagree with. It's strange alliance between people like me and you conservatives isn't it?
Upvote my post if you want :P

These guys are awesome. It's historically accurate that ninjas and pirates both had their faces eaten off by dinosaurs. In TV and movies they like to portay the dinosaur in a fantasy way, like not grinding rails on skateboards and other things that dinosaurs were known to do.

I use a static site generator for my blog and it allows for as much customization as you could want but... it sometimes feels like no one reads it. That kind of thing is what makes me consider blogging communities.
maybe something like blogspot would be better, idk. might just be wishful thinking.
