I made a thread to show you how to do it.

This is actually a good enough thread for /main/ that I almost moved it out of /trash/
but I don't want to take away user agency; maybe the user doesn't want their post on the front page.
It seems there are cases where what seems like a shitpost actually prompts responses about a topic,
in which case do such threads belong in the /trash/?
I'm not really sure myself.
It's probably best to just be hands off but I wonder.

Hey, welcome.
This board never was and most likely never will be a fast moving board. Most visitors that come here will look at the most content worthy threads, leave some posts, and probably never come back.
Please shit post into /trash/

It makes sense for a cyborg to retain some semblance of authentic humanity. Easier to interact with people.
As for the Borg from the Trek, I have no answers for that one. I guess everyone likes boobs.

I'm prepared for that outcome.
But Mike Judge did a good a job with 2022 Beavis and Butthead. That being said, I think B&B is an easier format than KOTH.

What is crazy about the bread? Is it the cheese? Then it would be cheese bread. Is it filled with mercury which would cause mad hatter's disease? Then how would it be legal to sell it? And how could the Joker eat it without dying?

Limited travel is still travel. What do you like about going somewhere nearby?
Construction season has started in my area this week, so a lot of the highways and freeways have been mostly shut down. Good thing I already got a big summer trip out of the way already
One of my favorite places to travel is through the Idaho panhandle on I-90. The whole area is mountainous, so the driving has lots of twists and turns from high places. It's as exciting as it is gorgeous

I would never sage a Bladee post.
Butterfly sounds so fast after listening to the slow version so long.

Done.
On a thread with one embed and a few posts, it might not be obvious why this helps.
But look at a thread filled with embed links and you'll see why I did this update.

Just testing out the new sage feature. This post should not bump.

you just let him fact check you like that?
A reply to a thread was posted: This just looks like a fat kid but its the teacher.
Features I might add
- sage checkbox on post to prevent it from bumping
- user can set their name to link to a website
- load embed content from URL on hover instead of on visible
- give board display options to anonymous users
I don't want to spend time on anything unless either I or someone else really wants it though.

There's several features people don't realize they could have with an account.
One of them is turning off /trash/, it will never appear anywhere in any feeds.
It seems like that should be default but then users don't know that /trash/ exists.
Edit: Another feature for account holders is the post editor.

If you think about it, every post on /main/ that contains an image has a chance to be featured on the front page.
There's a chance every time someone scrolls past a post that it will load your image and link to your post.
See how you can even register a name that will appear on the featured post instead of "nobody."

The board has a lot of potentioal for users to feature their creations.
People are just not taking advantage to feature themselves. Or when they do, it's to post a dildo. :P
