real.
if you want a serious answer though...
Most artists especially once they get serious are aware that posting their stuff anywhere except on an authority account that they own will gurantee that they don't get any credit for it if it goes viral (not that anything from here is going viral kek), so... I kind of don't blame them.
People are also suspicious of posting their serious work in a place that might make others not take it seriously. A board like this is doomed for the /trash/ almost so have to just accept it.
Would be nice to get some outside artists who don't give a fuck about that and watch them take over /art/ though.
I decided to force /trash/ to the bottom of the board list so new users won't see it first at least.
I used to omit it from latest posts but that just made keeping track of what is getting posted there more difficult. Logged in users have the option to prevent it from displaying anywhere on the site but of course no one uses that.
Maybe I could come out with different endpoints for latest posts, some that include trash, and default ones that don't.
But another thing to keep in mind is that the moment users start coming here expecting this to be a manicured, safe Internet experience where all the things they don't like never appear is the moment that those users will be mad at us for not being able to deliver that.
I destroyed almost all my art earlier this year. It felt pretty good and now I have pretty much nothing to show people.

I think about X'ing out goeshard all the time. But I'd rather get to a point of finally being comfortable with what I am. I've been detroying my creations for a long time now so it doesn't feel as good as it used to.
But I understand.
