are you ready for this summer?
are you sensitive to the heat?
what's your temperature limit?
any tips for staying alive this summer?
optional bonus: from what climate area are you from?
___
i'm not ready and will not be ready... ever. i'm verrryy sensitive to the heat, and i'm dying if outside is hotter than +20°C. i'm originally from beyond polar circle, and now i live in central europe.... EU guys yall insane how do you handle this nightmare every year?
i have one tip: live in the freezer.
While I cannot disclose my exact location due to security critical opsec reasons, it is the asscrack of the world where winter lasts 2 months and the rest of the year is fuck you in the ass humidity and summer.
I absolutely dread it. I love going outside and taking long walks, and you just can't this time of year.
The best defense I have against it:
> take multiple showers per day
> portable ac unit that hooks to window for room you sleep in

guys, it's +23°C for me today. rest in peace
it's going to be over 40C here at the height of Summer...
Invest in talc. It massively reduces stickiness and chaffing in the groin and arm pits.
Stay hydrated.
Make ghetto air con - put bottles of water in the freezer and bring them out to melt in the room you want to chill. Put them behind a fan for best results.
Close the curtains of the windows facing the sun.
At night open your doors and windows to cause a breeze to pass through the house.
Use thin sheets to wick away sweat.
Buy some fans to move air around your house.
Don't cook - eat more salads and sandwiches so you aren't running a box of fire in your house.
Turn off lights and get low energy lightbulbs - they put out less heat.
Keep windows closed if it's hotter outside
Grow trees and plants in your garden - they reflect heat and also absorb it. They also release water which draws the heat away.
I dread summer and it gets worse every year. Fuck climate change.
